You seek this Apollo out when you need a little more time to make a decision. He will give you that time to do so. If there are potential negative consequences for taking too long, Apollo will bear the weight of those consequences himself — literally. The burden takes the form of a tiny, tiny link on a gold chain, like a piece of jewelry.
After 800 years, the chain is long enough that it drapes over his shoulders hundreds of times, possibly thousands, to the point that it looks like a cloak.
The burden he bears is heavy enough that it's taking a physical toll on his body. One leg shattered and had to be replaced with a prosthetic, the other leg is cracking but is reinforced. Unfortunately, the cracks have been appearing on his torso and shoulders, too, and have recently (in the last century or so) begun snaking their way up his neck and onto his face. He's started wearing a mask to hide the cracks on his face.
