ISLE OF DELOS
Apollo's Horizon is based on the real-life isle of Delos as Apollo remembers it in its heyday. It's a beautiful, sprawling polis spanning a kilometer or so, packed shops and stalls for any kind of item you could imagine — from period-accurate tools and clothing to modern-day electronics.
The shops are not being manned, and no exchange of currency is expected. The items are simply there for the taking, if you're so inclined.
There are stalls offering street food, too, all similarly unmanned. The food is always hot and fresh, from old Greek staples like souvlaki and gyros, to modern-day delights like hot dogs, tacos, and dim sum.
There are small but fully-furnished houses, too, if anyone would like to claim a little spot of their own in his domain.
Other areas of interest include an outdoor amphitheater, various temples to other gods both Greek and foreign, and a public bath.

SANCTUARY OF APOLLO
At the heart of Delos is the Sanctuary of Apollo, a collection of temples, gardens, and a sacred lake. At its center, rising above the rest, is the Temple of Apollo: A masterpiece of architecture.
Flanking the temple entrance are two statues — historically, they were both statues of Apollo, but here in the horizon they are statues of Jason Grace and Meg McCaffrey. Offset from the entrance, towering over visitors, there stands a colossus of Artemis where historically a colossus of Apollo once stood.

INSIDE THE TEMPLE
The interior of the Temple of Apollo deviates dramatically from what its real-life counterpart: The temple is a palace, comfortably furnished with modern-day décor. There are enough lavish bedrooms for everyone in Abraxas that Apollo has named his family, along with other spaces one might expect from a mansion.
CAMP HALF-BLOOD
At the far edge of the city is the edge of a lush, green forest that connects to the adjacent domains, making up a piece of the larger Camp Half-Blood that they're creating together.
